Personal Trainer and Food Coach
I don’t have your typical history with fitness and nutrition. I didn’t go to college for it and it has not been a life journey. While I’ve participated in half and full marathons and love outdoor activities, my interest in wellness actually developed over the last several years after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.
After realizing there’s somethings in life that are not controllable, there are 2 things I could control: how I move and what I eat. I, like many, experienced struggles but ultimately remained determined. Determination lead to consistency, and with consistency I saw success.
During this process, I fell in love and became intrigued with the mechanics of exercise, programming and using food for fuel. I bring a personal understanding of life’s “curve balls,” as well as, a zeal for the industry to clients for a fun but challenging atmosphere. I love to read, learn and practice all that is fitness related.
When I’m not in the gym, I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, doing yard work, boating, traveling and exploring the foodie scene of St. Louis with my family.
